Laura is a FOX5 news anchor and producer and presenter of her weekly segment, Laura's Likes.  She has received a number of honors and awards for her reporting including multiple Emmys, Associated Press Awards, Golden Mics and a Radio and Television News Directors Association award for Best News Series.  Washingtonian Magazine named Laura as one of the rising stars to watch in local television news.

Congresswoman Norton was one of the cosponsors to the long-sought Achieving a Better Life (ABLE) Act, which was signed into law in December of 2014 by President Obama.  She has been named one of the most important women is one survey and one of the most powerful women in Washington in another.  The Congresswomen's work for full congressional voting representation and for full democracy for the people of the District of Columbia continues her lifelong struggle for universal human and civil rights.

Self-Advocate, Madison Essig

Madison Essig was a student at Wilson High School in Washington, DC in 2014 and became the first person with Down syndrome to graduate from the school, with a full diploma and a 3.7 GPA.  In 2016 Madison began attending George Mason University in the MasonLife Program to pursue a career advocating for people with disabilities. 

National Anthem Performer, Davison Duo

Davison Duo is a POP/Rock duo based in the Washington, DC area and is comprised of siblings; Madison and Davis Gestiehr, both students at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, MD.  They began performing together on stage at their Elementary school talent show when Davis was 5 and Madison was 8.  Davis has been performing the Star Spangled Banner since the age of 10 and has performed numerous times for many Washington area sports teams including the Washington Wizards, The Washington Nationals and the Baltimore Orioles.  Davison continues to perfect their musical skills, write music and perform at Restaurants, Charity Events and Venues of all types in and around Washington, DC. 

Warm Up, Jackie Zamora & Zamdance

Jackie is the founder of ZAMDANCE in Gaithersburg, MD.  ZAMDANCE is a dance fitness program for children and adults with special needs.  The classroom introduces a structured environment while allowing the students to be able to move at their own pace. The students are entertained by the music and dance movements.  This class also keep students happily engaged while learning different dance steps such as MERENGUE, JAZZ and HIP-HOP! (ages 8+).
